We Traveled to Periyapalayam in Thiruvallur dist on Matu pongal. On the
occasion many people will travel to that location with family,friends
and cook by road side feast and also visit the famous temple.
On the day we cooked Mutton Briyani by my sister (Check my previous post),Chicken curry by my Aunty and Fish Fry by my Mom (will be my next post). Also helped by my wife and Sis-in law and brothers.

Chicken Curry Recipe :
Ingredients :
Chicken,Onion,Tomato,Garlic & Ginger Paste,Green Chilli,Salt,Cloves,Cardamom,Cinnamon sticks, Coriander leaves,chilli & Corriander powder mix, Pepper,fennel,poppy seed mix
Instructions :

Chicken Curry Recipe :
Ingredients :
Chicken,Onion,Tomato,Garlic & Ginger Paste,Green Chilli,Salt,Cloves,Cardamom,Cinnamon sticks, Coriander leaves,chilli & Corriander powder mix, Pepper,fennel,poppy seed mix
Instructions :
- Heat oil in a pan .
- Add in the Cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Fry for 30 seconds.
- Add in the garlic & ginger paste. Fry for 5-6 minutes on medium flame, until the raw smell goes off Add in the sliced green chilli coriander leaves, chopped onions, tomatoes, Chilli powder, salt, Chicken,chilli & Corriander powder mix, Pepper,fennel,poppy seed mix
- Add above items one by one and mix well one by one
- Add water. Mix well to combine. Cover and pressure cook everything for 30-40 medium flame.
- Your Chicken Curry is Ready
