pressure cooker or pot. This Taste delicious and flavorful. It explains
very well for the beginners so that you don’t go wrong. Its highly

Recipe :
Ingredients :
Bay leaves, cinnamon ,cloves,oil,Curd (optional),basmathi rice,onion, tomato,ginger & garlic pasted,green chilli, mint leaves,turmeric,salt (as per taste),chicken.corriander leaves, red chili powder
Methods;
1) Soak rice for 20 mins
2) Add oil to the pressure cooker and heat it. Add bay leaves.cinnamon,cloves and sauté till they begin to sizzle
3) Add onions, green chili and fry till they turn golden. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off
4) Add tomato and saute well till it mixes well and mix curd,mint leaves,coriander leaves, red chilli powder,salt,turmeric
5) Add chicken and some water and cook till the mixture turn thick and dry. By now the chicken should almost cooked and soft
6) Add rice now and water (1 cup rice = 2 cup water)
7) Mix well let it cook for few more minutes till the half the water evaporate
8) Then close the pressure cooker and let it cook in pressure for 10 mins, do not let it whistle
9) Switch off the stove, let the pressure go down, fluff up the rice with fork
10) Chicken biryani is ready serve it with onion raita & boiled egg , it will taste yummy
